Who We Are
Hillside Pines is a lovely, warm home situated amongst the pines in the Town of Bridgewater on Nova Scotia’s picturesque South Shore. Our Mission and Vision sets forth the framework of our approach.
What We Offer
We believe that every Elder should be able to embrace Hillside Pines as their home. They have the right to live their lives to its fullest potential emotionally, intellectually, socially, spiritually, and culturally.
How To Apply
Admission to all Long Term Care facilities in the province of Nova Scotia is coordinated by the Provincial Department of Health and Wellness.
Our Accomodations
Hillside Pines is licensed under the Department of Health and Wellness, offering 50 home like level ll beds. Elder's rooms include 18 double and 14 single rooms with shared washrooms.
Beds, bedside tables and dressers are provided by Hillside Pines. Elders are incouraged to bring in a special chair and other special items but should check with the Environmental Services Manager prior to doing so to ensure safety and adequate space exists.
There are common areas where Elders and their care partners are encouraged to use for socialization and/or privacy.
